Score

Truth or Dare:
Truth - I love shoes.
Dare - hard to pass up a good shoe sale.

I am my mother's daughter and my daughters are their mothers daughters. Love shoes.

Scored: My darling mother just brought out a pair of these Jessica Simpson heels she wore twice and now I am the proud owner of. How about that?

camera's and grandkids

Call me crazy, but I have given my grand kids my little digital. Yeah, I know, I know, I've taken a risk. Zane, who's five has turned out to have quite the eye. I started a blog with his photos. And, while in Spain Simon (he's eight) took my camera and took some awesome pictures. I'll have to blog them.

I've even given Ivana (she's three) my camera and watched her have fun with it. That is, until last night). We went to ASU's and loved watching our one of our daughters, Sowyma (from India) perform in some traditional Indian dances. Ivana wanted to "take some pictures." So, I handed her my camera and all of a sudden . . . well . . . you guessed it. Crack. On the cement floor.

Yup, call me crazy and call me bummed. It's gone. Nada. Kaput.

So, using my (non manipulative) feminine mystic (it's the good kind I teach young women about) I put on my red shoes this morning and said, "Honey, wanna buy me a new camera for my birthday." {Big grin} I'm centered and on purpose and I am the wind behind his vision, so I can have fun doing this. Any camera ideas?

sarah's red shoes

I'm on a shoe watch. And, Sarah's got some sexy shoes going on! You've got to admit it - no matter what side of the fence you're on - that there's a lot of blog chatter about Sarah, her hair, her eyewear, the lipstick and now her very sexy red shoes. You Go Sarah! Love those shoes.

I'm a shoe girl and this past July I did some picture takin' of my "traveling shoes" in Spain and France. One of my very favorite red heels were in the suitcase that Iberria Airlines conveniently lost. Bummer.

OK, back to the shoes. Sarah was first seen in these Naughty Little Monkeys.

cute shoes for my granddaughters. . . ya think?

I think I'd have to get both three year old granddaughters these shoes. Gosh are they cute! Stride Rite Girls: BG25137 Caden Mary Jane Stage 3 Azalea
I showed this cutie from the Faro selection to Miriam and she immediately said, "Nana, I like toes ones." Faro shoes are handcrafted in small, family run factories in Spain, in the best traditions of European shoe-making.

Jillian HEARTS these.
They're Keds TF24264 Knack Belt Beach Balls Sneakers. I HEART them too!

I think I'd like these for Miriam. . . .
These are Bare Feet, cause they're shaped like bare feet.

I am a shoe nut, I confess, but...I can't believe this...

OK . . . I do love shoes - ask my daughters . . . ask my friends.
As a matter of fact, my buddy, Linda
wrote me the coolest poem on Shoes for my 50th BD.
*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*
But, you have to check this out . . .Beyonce's Balenciaga Lego heels
. . . heels made out of . . . my grandson's Lego's!
And they only cost . . . a meager . . . $4,175 a pair!
*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*
I share this, not to toot my own horn,
but to hopefully challenge any reader to run and win the prize . . .
but put some good shoes on before you run.

How Lovely Are Her Feet
Lylah is our lovely sister whom today has just turned 50.
Her femininity has served her well, as you can plainly see.
She has style, she has grace & not a wrinkle on her face!
She loves the old & the new & loves hankies trimmed in lace.
The cutest shoes befit our Lylah who’s honor now is due.
Her stylin feet give her favor, as she delivers the good news.
If you ask her she will tell you, why she likes to fashion;
To gain attention for the Lord & win souls; that is her passion!
You can take a seat and rest your feet, there is no striving here.
The law of kindness is on her lips, you have nothing now to fear.
The compassion she so freely gives will bless your weary soul.
You’ll feel accepted in her presence & encouraged in your role.
She”ll storm heaven on your behalf donning combat boots and all;
Ah yes, her shoes of peace are varied, & she won’t let you fall.
So Lylah you press on, cause we are watching your cute shoes,
The steps you take are righteous & God knows you cannot lose!

Luv you so,Linda <>

How lovely on the mountains
Are the feet of him who brings good news, who announces peace & brings good news of happiness, who announces salvation,& says to Zion, “Your God reigns!"
