After Jenni, the kids and I grabbed - no inhaled - devoured a Voo Doo donut - it seemed like coffee would be appropriate and thus little neighborhood coffee cafe sucked me in. Why is it that those cutesy places always do that?

When you see those bumper stickers that say something about "showing acts of random kindness" what do you think?
This was the epitome of a random act of kindness on Monday.

Our family is beyond blessed. Here;s last nights pic of all our grandkids - minus an 18 month old that took off and minus this new guy born this morning On any given day, anywhere from one - eight or nine can be heard in the back ground. We love it! Makes for a full life and lots of memories and lots of noise. Wanna hear the noise? Go here.

He's here! He's awesome! He's a hunk! And, of course he's beyond adorable and we're all so proud to have God add him to our growing family. Welcome Baby Roman video!

So, what rationale does a mom have to let her kids watch brain cell wasting t.v. (or at least much of it is). Get their hands busy folding laundry!
IF kiddos watch t.v. it's always with a pile of laundry in front of them. They become the engine (folding the clothes) that keeps the t.v. going. Once they disengage their sweet little hands from folding the clothes, the t.v. goes off.
I LOVE . . . let me repeat WE LOVE this. The adults on the home front always get a little chuckle out of the scene. Check it out:

The transition that happened with the industrial revolution took something away that building and growing a garden creates opportunity to bring back. What is that? Dependency on God and the awe of life and growing things and giving thanks to the Almighty for his wonderful provision.

My daughter knows how to make a party extra special and she held nothing back from our granddaughters 4th BD party.
