Like every other home maker, I'm thinking about every way I can to not only save money.
I know I'm saving money (after the initial investment) by gardening. I also know that I'll be saving money in developing my year long pantry and a new way that I think I'll save money is to use the sun's resources to cook as many meals as I can outside in my new solar oven.

Very cool! I can't wait to see how it comes out. One of the ways I'm trying to save money this year is by joining a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture). For $420 I'll receive 10-15 pounds of fresh local produce each week for 20 weeks. Plus I will have my own garden produce. :)
Hey beautiful Danielle...Thanks for stopping by. That CSA sounds great. I'd love to hear about what you're getting and then how you'll cook with what you get. You go girl with your garden!
don't forget you can unplug all of your outlets for some additional electric bill savings.
hope that chicken worked! :)
I will definitely let you know what I get! I get pleasure out of stuff like posting what i got at the farmer's market that week. heehee This is the first time I've done a CSA. I've been a little nervous about it before, but this farmer has a great list of produce that he's growing for us and a great price so I took the plunge! :)
I'm excited to see how it turns out. I am going to have solar oven envy now :)
Yes, more people should start using alternative sources of energy for everyday things.
