Ever have one of those days where you just can't get up and out of the pit? Ever feel discouraged or hopeless or confused about the way life seems to dish it out? I had one of those moments this past week. My personality isn't the kind that gets all melancholy but for some reason I had a few hours of feeling emotionally stuck.
I'd gone out to the barn to collect the eggs and when I turned around, there I saw it The it was this incredible rainbow that stretched over the eastern sky. I just about killed myself running back to the house to get the camera hoping nothing would change.
God was talking to me. I didn't want Him to stop. He was telling me something and I wanted to capture that moment. I wanted to listen. I needed my heart encouraged. He did.

Don't you just love those "God talking to you" moments?
Lylah, I love those moments when I believe God is speaking directly to me. There's something about rainbows that I love so much. Maybe the promise from Genesis that He would not destroy the earth again in a flood? I believe His promises.
Sending you hugs,
Debbie
soooo amazing... He is so loving and kind...xoxo
He is more than Wonderful. . . more than Amazing and more than Miraculous. And, to think my God - who had need of nothing created a need within Himself for me - to love Him.
yes, Mary and Debbie...I do love those moments. Farming :-). . . has given me opportunity for many new moments in little things such as this rainbow and carrying little Roman on my hip.

A moment like that happened to me back in Nov when we almost lost our newborn baby.I was in such despair.
He showed me So much through those quiet, still moments. There was an amazing thunder storm with a bright beautiful rainbow right from our hospital window.
I love and somehow need those moments.
I love the scripture Jeremiah 29 11-13. About seeking and finding Him with all our heart.
He is SO good!!!
Hugs and Blessings,
