Let's be honest. What woman doesn't like to look her best, hasn't envied another woman's style or wished she was only ...uh, 10 pounds lighter?
And . . . has their never been a Vogue Magazine that has NOT caught your eye while standing in line with a basket full of groceries?
While visiting La Dolce blog, I spotted this and wanted to share it here. What are your thoughts on these kinds of things?
Me? I do appreciate fashion and design, at least to look however my heart is geared toward Home and Garden...

It always kind of un-nerved me that ONE person can dictate so many things for all of us! I love the September Vogue but have to say, last years had a lot of stuff that I would have nixed were I the Devil in Prada.
I love Vogue. Started reading it when I was twelve (far outweighed "Seventeen" for me!) and I always get the September issue. Even if I'm pregnant, or nursing so can't even look at a dress, I can still spend an hour or two thumbing through the September issue and come away with the "new" color of the season for a new pair of flats or bag that I wear with my black sweater and jeans and feel like I'm at least partway "with it." :)
My subscriptions - Cookie Magazine, Vogue, Better Homes and Gardens and Country Living. What more do I need?
And, of course, there's the lovely Jeffrey Steingarten. I look forward to reading his article every month. I'm sure he's not the reason most people read Vogue, but it is one of the top reasons for me!
