On our travels this past Wednesday we journeyed inland in Basque Country. Our first stop was Tolosa with this increcible open air market and our next stop was a very small community called Olaberria. We got there through very, very, very winding roads up and down and down and up and I lived to blog about it. I get car sick easy, but thanks to my driver's great skill, I didn't.
Jeff told us that a number of years ago a bunch of "yuppies" with a lot of money, moved into the area from the 'city' bought up land and built big houses. They were seeking a place a way from the rat race of the city. Seeing the view from the hill top, I could understand their pursuit.
