The other day, Zane and Ivana were at our home. I saw Zane (and his sister) walking around with a camera - which happened to be my camera. This is what I discovered. I have no clue how he took this last picture.

I've Got A Freebie for You!
Gossip is such a killer. As a pastor's wife, I know first hand how it can destroy a church. And, us, women are just the worst. It's interesting that we're the ones (in Titus 2) that are told to NOT gossip...not our men.

Old Fashion Butterscotch Pudding
I just ran across this pudding - it sounds so good. Think I'll make some tomorrow.
Butterscotch Pudding
1 1/2 cups packed light-brown sugar1/2 cup flour2 1/4 cups evaporated milk3/4 cup water4 egg yolks2 tbsp. butter2 tsp. vanilla whipped cream (optional)
Mix sugar and flour in saucepan. Rub with fingers to blend. Whisk in milk and water. Bring to boiling; cook, stirring, until thick, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat.
Place yolks in bowl. Stir in 1/2 cup hot sugar mixture. Stir yolk mixture into sugar mixture in saucepan. Bring to simmering over medium-low heat, 1 to 2 minutes; do not let boil. Remove from heat. Stir in butter and vanilla. Spoon into bowl. Cool over an ice water bath until cool to touch, about 5 minutes.
Spoon into 8 dessert glasses; refrigerate. Garnish with whipped cream.

We survived a remodel
Only a few friends dared "visit" during the days/months of our remodel this past January. I thought it'd be fun to see the changes on our homefront and hopefully it might be encouraging to anyone in the midst...that...eventually...it will all end.

Eating Healthy - Menu Planning
I've planned weekly menus off and on for years. I think it's one of THE best way to save money on the home front AND it's THE way to provide nutritionally for our families.
I've created my own menu planners with personal recipes and I've looked at others. I just ran across two online menu planners that seem really good. If you're in a cooking/planning rut, check these out.
