Last Friday morning, I decided to venture out from our traditional buttermilk pancakes (Martha Stewart's recipe) and make some buckwheat pancakes. I even surprised myself by coming up with my own recipe - which I have to add - I'd make the same way the next time. So, if you're in the mood for pancakes, try my buckwheat pancakes here.
Lylah's Buckwheat Pancake Recipe
Mix Together:
1 cup white flour (I like Bob's Red Mill and King Arthur)
2 cup buckwheat flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
5 Tbl. sugar
Beat 3 eggs and add 3 cups buttermilk and 1/2 cup melted butter.
Heat your skillet up and add some butter -then cook! Serve and enjoy!
